Introducing Cocoa

We are SO EXCITED! The kids have been begging us for a puppy for years so we finally gave in.
We told the kids that we had a surprise for them on Saturday but wouldn't tell them what we were doing. We went to their house and the kids were quite confused, they didn't know what we were doing there and what all of the puppies were for. I didn't know that one dog could have all 3 colors of puppies!

Braxton LOVED holding the puppies and kept trying to let all of them out.Kylee hanging out in the back playing it cool!

Can you see the puppy? Kinda matches her coat!
It took us forever to pick one, but we finally did and can't wait to bring her home next Monday! The kids are already fighting over where she should sleep and who gets to hold her again first! Wish us luck! I think we will need it, as we were leaving Ben realized his allergies were acting up. We are hoping it was just because there were 14 dogs in a tiny area and too much for him. In the mean time we will be crossing our fingers!

We went and took family pictures the other day, it was fun but cold! We got some pretty cute ones, and it was fun to see their personalities come out!

Kylee is getting Baptised!

I can't believe my baby is almost 8! We went and took a few pictures in her baptism dress and are working on an announcement. She is getting baptized Sept. 4 for anyone who is interested in coming! She is so very excited and has even convinced her daddy to practice with her a few times!

Easter!

We colored eggs and the kids had a lot of fun, Ben even got into it! Tianna's favorite part was putting on stickers!

A few of our best ones

We had a really fun Easter! The kids were very excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought and also a couple extra prizes from me and Ben!

The Easter Bunny was tricky this year, he hid all of their baskets so they had to find them!

We had these for our breakfast as well as a breakfast casserole and peaches. They are called Easter rolls because they are empty inside like Jesus' tomb. To make them you just use your favorite bread recipe, then after they have risen the first time you take some dough and wrap it around a marshmallow. You then roll it in butter and then cinnamon and sugar. You then cook them at 350 for about 20 mins. They are really fun and I love to see the surprise on everyone's face when they see that they are empty inside! Plus they are quite yummy! We get to go to Grandma Carroll's later for an egg hunt so perhaps I'll put some pics on of that later. Have a Happy Easter!

My Cute Bugga Boo

I figure while I'm at it, I'd tell a cute story about my precious Braxton. He is becoming a cute little monkey and in to everything! The other day he was being too quiet (every mother knows this is a bad sign) so I went to find him. By the time I got to him, he had figured out that he was in trouble and needed help! He began whining, and then I knew why, he had climbed into the drawers under my drier and couldn't get back out! So being the mean mother that I am, instead of rushing to his aid, I rushed to find my camera! This has since become one of his favorite playing areas, I have put a few things in the drawers for the kids like art stuff and play doh so he thinks it is a great place to be!

He also loves balls and loves to follow them around the house, I can already see his little personality. He is so adorable and I love having him in my life!
