Mini Mommy

Tianna has really enjoyed being a new big sister. Although, I think she thinks she is more of a mom! She has carried around her doll "Tracey" ever since Braxton came home and has copied me anytime I do anything with Braxton. It is very cute! Makes sure I am on my best behavior also!

Ready to go!

All tuckered out from a long day caring for an infant!

I love all of my kids so much. Tianna is at such a cute age and I will cherish these memories, when else in her life will she be so willing to "help" without me even asking! She brings me so much joy and I can't imagine our lives without her.

Conner/Daddy's New Toy

Daddy brought home a fun new toy for Conner to play with. It is crazy to think that he is the same age as Kylee was when she got hers! He is actually very good at it though and surprisingly cautious, so far!

Tianna is ready for a ride!

Easter Time

We had a fun Easter weekend. We went to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center, had an egg hunt at our friends the Francis', and had fun at Ben's brothers wife's parents house. That last thing may have been a little confusing! Anyway, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and animals!

Because the first duck tried to "fly" out of Kylee's hands, she was a little nervous to hold the baby animals. Conner loved them though!

This was probably their favorite part.

They got to see the Easter Bunny!

Braxton Jacob Brown

Braxton Jacob Brown

Well I figure since our latest addition is already 3 weeks, it might be time to finally put him on the blog! Life has been a little crazy with 4, but not as bad as I had imagined. His siblings definately love him and also love to fight over him!

Braxton was born at 8 am on March 26. He was 21 inches and weighed 8lbs.4oz., which was actually our largest baby! He was blessed with a lot of hair (which for some reason the boys in our family get all the hair).

I got to stay at the hospital for 3 nights because of the time he was born, which was actually kinda boring. My mom was kind enough to take my other kids for the weekend so that when we came home on Sat. it was very quiet. She brought them back up on Sunday and they were very excited to see Braxton again.

What I Will Miss About Being Pregnant

So Ben and I had a fun evening last night, I was having contractions every 3-4 minutes for atleast 2 hours so we decided to go to the hospital. So at 11:30 PM we asked Ben's brother to come sleep on our couch while we made the trek to Labor and Delivery. Because I was having such steady contractions, I just knew I had to be atleast a 5 by now. Unfortunately I was still a small 3 and after hanging out at the hospital for 2 hours and no change, we were sent home.
It must be that my Dr. is male, I mean, I'm 38 1/2 weeks pregnant, why can't they just give me a little pitosine or break my water? Does 3 days actually make that big of a difference in a 40 week pregnancy? Would it be so bad if he came a little early?
So, due to our recent "false alarm," I decided to list what I will miss about being pregnant instead of feeling sorry for myself.

1- I will miss getting to eat whenever and whatever I want without guilt

2- My maternity clothes are actually cut
er than my regular wardrobe

3- At least when you are pregnant you have an excuse to be overweight

4- I will miss feeling the baby move- even though he is a strong little bugger and often hurts me. It's also fun to see my other kids reactions as they see my belly moving like an alien is insi
de!

5- The excuse to have cravings

6- The anticipation- I can't wait to see the little guy and be able to compare features to our other kids.

7- And the thing I will miss the most is my hugs from Tianna. She loves to come up and give my belly a hug and kiss and sa
y "hi Braxton" or tell him to "come out" so she can play with him. It's so cute and makes my heart melt.

I figured since I've been a loser and haven't posted anything for awhile, I would just put on some recent scrapbook pages I've done! Better than nothing, right?
