Monster Trucks

Ben and C0nner had a great time at the Monster truck show on Saturday. It was all a big surprise for Conner, Ben would tell him a clue a day all week. They rode the Frontrunner from Ogden to SLC and had lunch at the Gateway. Afterwards they went down to the Energy Solutions Arena to watch the big show. They had such a good time and Conner absolutely loved it. Conner always chose to sit on the top floor of the Frontrunner He got a little tuckered out and had to take a short siesta during intermission.

Early Valentine's Day

We celebrated Valentine's Day early at our house today. Ben and I are spending the night without children, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Brown, so I decided to do their valentine's breakfast today. We made pink heart shaped pancakes and pink scrambled eggs. It took Conner a little while to decide the food still tasted ok, even though it was a funny color.

They each got a little candy bag, which they were very excited about. Conner and Kylee both have their Valentine's party today.

Kylee was especially excited because they were supposed to dress up in their church clothes and learn about manners today. She thought it was pretty cool that the boys have to open doors for them and pull their chairs out all day. I'm glad they are teaching them young!

I am so thankful for my children and my real Valentine-Ben. They bring me so much joy in my life and have taught me so much. I am a better person and hopefully a better mom and wife because of them. I love them so much and don't know what I would do without each one of them. I LOVE YOU GUYS! Hope you all have a great V-day.

Super Bowl Party

Hangin' Out!

The kids had fun playing together.

Part of the gang.

The spread, YUM YUM!

We had a lot of fun at our Super Bowl party, we had friends and family over and a whole lotta junk to eat! (That's always my favorite part) The kids really enjoyed playing with each other and the guys appreciated having someone else to cheer with! I didn't really watch the game, but some of the commercials were pretty funny, but most of them were just plain trashy! I guess it is supposed to be a mans show, but don't they realize that families gather to watch their filth? Some of them made Janet Jackson's little stunt seem tame! Maybe next year the media will ask me to approve their commercials first!
